ReWilding Documentary

Each week, from March to December, roughly 30 million acres of suburban lawn in the US are mowed and maintained by professional landscaping companies. The side effects of this are air, noise, and chemical pollution and a reduction in necessary flora and fauna.

A new movement is very slowly starting to gain traction called Rewilding. The concept is having the entire or a percentage of a property planted with native perennial plants.

My wife and I created this grass roots documentary, shot on my iPhone, to submit to the Bloomberg Green Doc Film Festival.
